Default Installing the grated fog lamp inserts

What is the verdict on these fog lamp inserts with the holes cut in them. I have a pair (came with the used vette, never installed yet) and was wondering how to install them? Do I have to go from underneath to do it? and is it worth it? Thanks.

If you have an aftermarket bottom breather intake, it probably won't make any difference. If you run a Donaldson or Twin Flow, it may help some. I've heard they are a pain to install.

Welcome to the Forum MEATHOUSE :) I have these on my FRC, because I wanted to get cool air to my twin flow K&N's. They will allow much more Cool air into the engine compartment, if that's what you want.

It's not a high tech job to install them. What I did is remove the entire front nose piece. Its helh on with about 36 screws around the perimiter. Once off it will be obvious how to remove the solid ones and install the open ones. Having someone to help you lift the nose off would be good to avoid scratching it. Have Fun :D :D
