I was curious as to what you are running as a fuel set-up on Wade's Corvette for the direct-port you guys are running. Are you using your fuel pump setup up that make, plus inline or boost a pump. I have added a second stage to my car and I want to spray it but wanna be safe first.
The fuel system on Wade's car is a seperate one. We are using the factory one for engine only and a seperate pump and line with regulator for the No2. We do sell this fuel system with our(TNT) direct port kit as a package. The fuel system draws fuel from the factory tank in a different location than the stock pump. This is the real only way to have 100% control over the No2 tunning(fuel side) than if you are running off the factory lines and pump; this also has the fuel capacity to make over 1000 hp(flywheel).
So do you think your Walbro dual intake pump will be enough for a 250nx wet shot, I really dont want to have to set up a different fuel setup if I dont have to.
Chris
Chris the stock pump is good to about 525RWHP, a single Walbro in-tank should handle 600RWHP, and the dual in-tank Walbro setup should handle about 800RWHP. Of course when you're spraying a 250 shot I hope you're running race gas.
The system Nick described doesn't sound that bad since it uses the stock tank with just a seperate fuel pump. If you went ahead and did that you wouldn't ever have to worry about upgrading your fuel system again. :)
Nick could you please get me some more details along with pricing, I like that idea better because I dont have to run a seperate fuel cell, if I understand you right.

Would like to know more details and pricing also!!
The factory fuel cell must be removed and a bulkhead fitting installed. The complete fuel system is available from tank to fuel solenoid and includes regulator as well as braided lines and all fittings, there are no rubber of hose clamps in this system. It is available in low and hi pressure systems for about $750USD and only recom. this for No2 applications.
I am also interested in the Seperate fuel set-up. It seems like I def. need it.. I just put a TNT kit on my car and when we first spray the car the car dies and then picks up.. It seems that the N2O setup is starving the motor when we first hit it and then as the pressure (65 PSI) builds back up, it is fine.. Pumps not putting out the volume.
I have roughly only 497hp in the motor with the stock 97 fuel system. Right now I'm using the fogger set-up and may switch to the direct port in the future. Would I need the High or Low pressure set-up?
Nick,
that setup is in my near future, along with my stroker.
For now (heads/cam +150 wetshot NOS), your dual fuelpump setup seems enough for me, and would be great, especially as I can leave it in the car for the stroker later and add the extra fuel setup for 300 hp directport NOS!!
What is the price for the dual pump setup, what mods are needed to use them? Or do they come as a bolt on set??
Want it as simple as possible.
If you are using the TNT twister kit I would recomend the hi pressure fuel system, when you go to the direct port(fogger) system you can hi or low pressure. The diff. is what system you have, the person(s) you have helping you tune it and so on, the TNT kit we sell (fogger) is set up with a low pressure system and works great.
The biggest thing on a No2 system is the 'tune-up', there are many diff. ways to get there so taking a little info from here and there can be a BIG problem!
The dual pump set up in only available right now for the F-body and are working on one for the C-5 as we speak. The single intanke setup for the C-5 should be good for 550 rwhp.
