Mine arrived today, looks great. I have to datalog the current setup, then change out the intake/tb. I will be posting seat of the pants and at least track data to substantiate this change. Everyone is swearing by this combo. I'm not a believer yet.

You don't mean for stock cubes engines do you?

What is the hot ticket for stock cube ls1's?

There is a lot of data to back it up, but I installed one with a ported LS2 TB and a few other minor mods (high flow air bridge and 3" x pipe) and only picked up appox. 8hp peak (The Ls2 TB was a DOG at low rpm until I had it ported by the way)

I know one guy running that combo on his "stock" bottom end block, but he has Trick Flow heads, very radical cam, 3.73 gears, KOOKS headers on an A4 car. It runs very good on HIS combination (10.7's driving to and from the track) but if your looking for something for a stock H/C car I don't think it's what you want. Where are you going to with your car...street...drag race...road race....??? That will make the final determination.

The FAST 90 set up with Ported LS2 TB, or one of Rev Extreme's TB, will not hurt your performance in any way. With heads, cam, and headers, you will definitely see a huge improvement once you add this intake. On a stock car, the improvment might not be as noticable.

If it's a stock A4 car, I'd put a stall converter in the car for the biggest bang for the buck. That's something you'll notice both by the seat of your pants, track results, and tire patches laid on the road. A full exhaust is also something that a stock car will definitely benefit from as well.

I have all the above mentioned and more. Now I am at what I consider the last available 'low hanging fruit' on my ls1 engine, the intake and tb. That's why I was asking.

If you've already done the torque converter, headers, exhaust, there leaves very few bolt ons left. There's always the electric water pump, 1.8:1 rockers, and such, but I wouldn't neccessarily do those. That leaves the intake. Now if you do go with the FAST 90, and a 90mm throttle body, I would recommend going with a C5 Z06 MAF and a tune as well (unless you have a 03/04 which already has the larger MAF).

Now if you want to start tearing into the motor, there's always cams, heads, and forced induction.

Thanks, I don't wanna touch the motor, it's perfectly good and held up great to 55k miles, 20k of them pure adulterated abuse. Now if it breaks...

An electric w/p is not suitable for the road racing that I do, hence my interest in overpriced intake/tb combinations.
