Hi people! I'm happy to report I had a great experience with ABSfixer.com. I got the dreaded ABS Traction light, came here for advice, and saved hundreds of dollars thanks to ABSFIXER.com. I waited for a scheduled oil change, had my mechanic remove the EBCM (I'm told this is very easy but I am a clod), shipped & returned then reinstalled quite painlessly. I let my vette sit in my garage for a week, but I was still waiving to other corvette drivers behind the wheel of my Jeep
Does ABSFixer.com fix and send back your original unit, or do they send you one that's been fixed of another car?
If I was going to send mine in, I personally would want the same exact on back. Can/will they do that ??
I think so, but call and ask Brandon. He was helpful when I called and their service was prompt, so I believe they'll tell it to ya straight
I was quoted $1,000 for a new EBCM unit, but there was also a backorder! It took exactly 1 week and one day to have my mechanic remove, ship both ways, then reinstall. The rebuild was $150, and I chose 2 day shipping ($25 each way). Double the shipping cost for next day wasn't worth it to me, but that option is available. My mechanic barely charged me (I think his standard rate is $80/hour and it was short job) as he reinstalled at scheduled oil change. I figure ABSFIXER.com saved me $800 had I simply lined up to bend over
