It is possible to do a catch can on a LS6 PCV system.
Carefully remove the U-shaped hard plastic tube from the PCV valve near the front RH side of the intake manifold. Then remove the rubber hose that the U-shaped tube is in from the metal fitting located on the RH front corner of the valley cover.
Here you go. Everything you need to know about installing a Catch can is here:
The catch can fits inline with the PCV hose between the TB & the valley pan. This is the catch can that I installed, works very well to prevent oil being sucked through the PCV valve.
ELITE ENGINEERING is the source for mine...nice people with great products. Everything you need is included in the kit. I preferred this over a DIY plastic widget design. There's several other vendor choices if you prefer a different length container, or bracket design. Most are offered in the same basic colors. It's your car to do with as you please.
Here's mine installed on an '04 LS6 Z16 (looks oem)... http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...r011808015.jpg
