I have a 2001 with 45,000 miles. last week I toped of the clutch resivior with power steering fliud by mistake. now my clutch pedal sticks to the floor and will only come back up if I pull it with my foot. do you guys think i should drain the fluid and repenish with new. or did I ruin something?
Power steering fluid is not compatible with Clutch/brake fluid as it's an oil based hydraulic fluid.
If the power steering fluid was only in the clutch reservoir then I would drain it and add brake fluid and flush the whole system as a precautionary measure.
If the power steering fluid was put in and the clutch pedal was pressed, then your system is now contaminated. I'm afraid you'll need professional help.

Power steering fluid will cause the soft goods in your master and slave cylinders to swell.
Were it me, I think I'd try replacing the master first, flushing the system as best as I could knowing that the slave may also have to be replaced. You might get lucky. If it comes down to replacing the slave also, be sure to consider installing a new clutch.
