My cigarette lighter and power source will not work on my '99. I went straight to the fuse box but since it doesn't have any printings on it, I can't ID which one is which. Anyone have any suggestions? Please advise.
Fuse locations are on page 370 of 426 (using Adobe page count) or 5-94 (using GM page numbers) and the Cigarette lighter fuse is in the group on the far lower right, the Cigarette lighter fuse is the one at the bottom left of the block. On my 2001 it is a 20 AMP fuse, you'll have to pull yours to check the correct Amp rating.

NOTE: Other years are available - Simply change the "year" towards the end of the link. AFTER you click on it and after it appears in the address window of your browser.
I mainly use the one on my console for my breathing nebulizer. To and from work. They both went out so I'm assuming it's the fuse. Will look up the PDF manual.
I have a '99 C5 hardtop and the console power receptacle fuse is #1 and the fuse for the cigarette lighter in the ashtray is #7. If you remove the cover to the fuse block located in the passenger footwell, you'l find a handy fuse ID diagram pasted to the inside of the cover.

Then not to leave any stones unturned
Pull out the ashtray and stick your fingers around behind the lighter socket and see if it came loose from the socket or the connector is not snapped on to socket assy. It's a C5 anything's possible
