Just had a 5-point RollBar installed in my C5 from Carroll's Rod & Racecraft. Leo and Bob were great to work with and Leo did a fantastic job. A very neat and clean job. See the below pics.
Run your sub belts up between your set bottom and seat back.
ie sit on your sub belts.
You may as well not have the sub belt attached if you are running it over the front of the seat. By doing it that way you are defeating the purpose of the belt which is to counteract the force of the shoulder harnesses pulling up on the lap belt by pulling in the opposite direction on the lap belt. You can't possibly pull it tight enough over the front of the seat and any force it applies to the lap belt is pulling the lap belt away from you rather than holding into your lap.

I think I know what you mean. Are you saying that the 2 points of the sub belt should be attached in the same location as each of the side straps?
That is one on each side. Then by doing this the belt lays on top of the seat and I would be sitting on it.
How did they cut the carpet and get it back for the braces in the package tray?
From experience Leo knows exactly where the bars are to be welded in. So he cuts holes in the carpet first, then fits the bar thru the holes and then welds.

I did the same thing You will notice that you are held in much better that way.
Of course you could always get a couple more points, like this. I did this after one season of sitting on the 5 point.

YES. have the belts come up between the seat bottom and set back, around your Jewels. Not around the seat bottoms.
Next I know this is not in your tech rules, get some FIA approved roll bar padding. Put the padding on the roll bar anywHere that your body might touch with in 12"
Make sure the cam lock is NOT in your sternum either.
