Default Hud Help!!!

I WAS PUTTING LED'S IN THE DIC BUTTONS AND WHEN I PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER MY HUD ISNT WORKING. I EVEN PULLED IT BACK APART AND MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS PLUGGED IN. WHICH BY THE WAY IS A PITA! YOU HAVE TO PULL APART HALF THE CAR TO GET TO THAT CLUSTER ANYWAY, I DONT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG AND WHY THE HEADS UP DISPLAY WONT COME ON. IS THERE SOMETHING I AM MISSING? THANKS

having just installed a HUD in my 2001 Z06, all I can say is there isn't much to screw up in there.. is the gauge cluster working correctly? if it is, the only two connections to be made are the one from the switches on the left of the cluster, that harness plugs into the cluster, and the harness between the HUD and the cluster, which connects to the cluster at the top center rear (or most forward position when mounted in the car depending on how you think of it..).

The HUD gets its power from the IPC, so check the wiring between the IPC and the HUD. If the IPC isn't working, then check fuses 19 and 25 (on a 2001) they will be labeled IPC and BCM1, IPC respectively.
