Removing Transmission
My second gear sychro just went out in my '01 so I'm going to buy a rebuilt one for it. How much is involved in removing the trans. I have done it several times in different F-Bodies, but I know they are alot different. I'm just wordering if there is anything special needed and about how long it usally takes. Thanks

take off tires
take off calipers, remove rear subframe that supports the diff
you can remove the tranny from the tourque tube, then take it out. I've doen it twice iand its not bad, just time consuming. no real tricks. just watch all the wiring around the subframe and diff and tranny, there is a TON of it.
and if yoru this far, might as well do a clutch if you think you might need one. its only the torque tub away
