It is based on posts and activty. You might want to make sure you have the right e-mail listed in your profile, as the Forum just recently sent out a post about it.

My understanding is you have to have been a member since Dec. '99, have over 1000 posts and have been active since September ('01). So, that leaves me out. :( Guess I haven't been much use. :rolleyes:

I don't see the reason for the exclusive setup for the Avatars. The Viper Forum is a good example. Or setting a reasonable post count, like 500 or 1000 would make sense.
