Default CAGS eliminator installation
Want to install the CAGS eliminator this weekend.
Do I need to disconnect the battery first to do this???

I'm always nervous when fooling with electronics.

Nah, the circuit isn't energized when the car is off .... so go to town. It'll take you longer to raise and lower the car than to install the CAGS defeat.

Just turn off the ignition and hook it up. I did a friend's Z06 on an oil change bay at a quick lube place. The guys liked the car and let us use it for 5 minutes for free.

If you have ramps, just back onto the ramps... 5 minutes from back up to drive off
