I believe that people have modified, or just used, the primaries from longtubes with stock cats and H-pipe. My question would be 'why'? The complete system with x pipe adds great power. Keeping the stock H-pipe would partially negate installing headers.

Yes. Anything advertised as a "longtube" will include the primaries (mounted to the engine) and x-pipe which will then bolt on to your Corsa.

You would have to make a conscious effort to buy either LG or American Racing headers without having to buy the x-pipe.

Check with the manufacturer of the headers to see if you can keep your Corsa x-pipe. There may be some issues with how they match to end of the headers. As the other gent said, the A/R's should be at the top of your list.

The ARH system eliminates your need for the Corsa X pipe.......I have their system with hi flows and then just sold the X pipe here on the forum. Best thing about the Dr's system is the merge collectors location

contact TPIS, can google them for a number. their long tube system is specifically designed to connect to existing header back piping...believe they provide a new H pipe as well....
