Well, I got in my car lastnight and pushed the clutch to the floor and it never came back. I had to pull it with my feet. Is this the clutch or one of the cylinders? Wasn't sure if anyone had this same problem. Anyway, if it is the clutch, is there one out there that everyone recommends that wont burn my wallet, as I am trying to sell this car at the same time? Thanks guys.
Well you can change the clutch fluid and hope the problem doesn't come back. Is the clutch stock? Stock LS1/LS6 corvette clutches had pressure plate problems from the factory. They did not torque the pressure plate down properly.
Check the fluid and bleed the clutch. If this does not fix it then the slave may be leaking and need replacement. It could be the pressure plate but unlikely.
Yeah, just brought it to the shop. Said my hydrolics/cylinder was leaking really bad. So I guess they are going to fix all that, labor $ is going to be a b#t$h
Sorry to heat that. At least the part is cheap, about $180 including the throwout bearing. I would install a remote bleeder why you are in there. Also now is the time for a clutch if you think you will be needing one soon.
