I saw a stock 01 WS6 run a 12.99 at sea level he claims it is 100% stock with no mods is this possible? Is there much difference in motors between C5 and WS6 I had to throw the :bs on his claim of stock though what do you all think? What is the fastest stock time you have seen a C5 A4 or MN6 do the 1/4 mile ?
Can depend on the 60 foot time, which a f-body has an advantage for hooking up over a C5 for most drivers.
The motors are basically the same, and the f-body has less parasitic loss to the rear wheels due to straigt axle. Their disadvantage is they weigh 300 or so pounds more.
My best friend had a stock 98 Z-28 with 400 miles on it we went 13.06 @ 107 on drag radials. The 2001/2002 WS6 car has the benefit of a better intake, and Ram-Air. Of course you may want to see what tires he was on, drag radials makes it a no-brainer. On stock radials its quite possible.

Drag radials arnt a stock car, and ram-air effect isnt possible no matter how good it looks or how they try to "market it" . in other words you cant create positive atmosphere with the speed of cars, the filter, and all the turns it must make, not to mention the turns it must make once its in the manifold. Cold air is the only bennefit of exposing filters to oncoming air.
Ram Air works for the SR-71 and such. Not automobiles.
Hi, When I had my 2000 WS6 I ran a 12.98 at 1300 feet above sea level with a 2.00 60ft and power shifting. It was 100% STOCK! There a LOT quicker than most people think. Later STEF
