I asked a few questions over the past week while I was doing a trans swap in my 97. Rodney@rpm was able to help in near real time with my questions along with other members chiming in and helping me complete it. This place is a great resource. Also want to thank cajundude and mike mercury for their write-ups.
I would also like to thank luckyone928 for selling me a straight low miles trans. I literally reduced the cost of this escapade by an order of magnitude by buying and used and doing the work myself!
I got it on the road yesterday and it seems to pull harder now. The stuff that pored out of my diff was kind of thin and dirty, which may have something to do with it. My car has 80k, and the new trans has 40k.
