ABS/Tire question

ABS/Tire question
Question: I just bought a set of track wheels and tires. All 4 Hoosiers are the same size on same size rims, 305/30/18's. Somone told me that running same size tires will mess up the ABS. Is this so? I am aware that the AH/TC will be off when running these tires as I know that AH will freak out.

I'm not so sure you'd have problems with either system....I've seen posts where neither system is affected. One of those things you just gotta try to find out for sure I guess.

Would not think it would mess up ABS. ABS is opposite" of AH/TC, in that it senses wheels not spinning and cycles brakes to keep them spinning. You should be okay.
You do need an 1/2 inch difference, minimum, to have TC/AH work properly. Stock tires have a 1 inch difference.
