So i know my clutch is going bad it slips in first, but it hasnt been an issue until today i dropped to 4th at 70 and hit the gas to about 90 then when i shifted to 6th the clutch was on the floor! I have changed the fluid very recently no avail there. Any help?
wow all this sounds expensive how long will i be able to leave it alone do you guys think this is my DD not a track star???
You are not going to last long. Once the clutch slave starts to go you are on borrowed time.
I would recommend a Textralia single, Z06 slave, master and pilot bearing and remote bleeder. Parts are probably around $1,200 + installation. If you put a stock clutch back in and drive it like you are going to, you'll the have the same problems again.
You could probably get a stock set-up and parts for around $700 but you'll be right back where you were if you jump on it a lot.
You are local to me so if you can turn a wrench I can give you a hand if you need it.
ajg1915 thanks alot for the advice guys i don't have the money to do this right now, and i can turn a wrench but don't have the equipment for a clutch install. I get my work done at Phoenix Performance so i ll have to ask them for a quote.
You can drive it for a long time if your only problem is the sticking pedal. Just count on it doing that every time you rev over 5500 or so. If you're on a budget, wait until you can afford the best quality parts, and take up that generous offer of help from a forum member. Make a friend, and DIY...win-win.

I would have been glad to let use my lift, but my garage is full from doing two vette projects at one.
My brothers FRC clutch had the same problem as yours, it stuck to the floor and then started leaking.
Check your clutch fluid and try the "Ranger" flush technique as that bought it a couple more months. Also keep a check on your fluid level to see if it is leaking.
