Default braking question (vibration)

when im doing normal driving they are as smooth as i could want them, but when i brake from rather high speeds (130 or so) i can feel them (what feels to me) pulsing or something.

my first thought was maybe there warped but if so, wouldnt they do it all the time, not just when very hot?

Sounds like the ABS turning on ... if you are feeling the pulsing through the pedal .... especially if the "pulse" or vibration rate remains the same regardless of vehicle speed. If the rate of the "pulse" varies with vehicle speed, then you do possibly have a brake problem.

it may be abs, but it only does it when braking from pretty high speeds, and normal braking pressure, not hard

but it may have something to do with the speed and abs kicking, in im not sure

It sounds like your abs system but if you are really worried take to a shop
and have them check the system out

Brake pad knock back.

Time to change your brake pads, brake fluid and check your calipers.

You would notice a warped disc just as you pull up to a stop sign from a slow or normal braking just as you come to a stop.

If you're not sure exactly what ABS feels like, make it work for you. Slam on the brakes to get ABS to kick in just so you know what it feels like, then compare that feel (and sound) to the problem you're describing. And do you feel it in the steering wheel too, or just the brake pedal? Do you feel it in the whole car?

Ceramics dont work from those speeds, pads melt.

Most ppl have no idea what ABS feels like from hard highspeed stops. But be thankful you have ABS.

Try glancing down at your DIC when you get the vibration, it will read "ABS ACTIVE" when the ABS is working.
