Resetting Oil Life
Hi all. For some reason I cant reset my oil life. The way I am doing it is going to the oil life then holding the reset button until it chimes (goes to ___) It then shoes xxx but doesnt reset. Any ideas on how to reset it? Thanks. OH I have a 1997 C5. Thanks.

Or you can have a weird starter problem like I have (I'll turn key sometimes and engine won't turn over). Twice now when I've had to hold the key to get the engine to turn over, somehow my oil life meter resets to 99%. Good thing I'm keeping track of the mileage and date since the last oil change. Not sure how my starting issue relates to oil life meter getting reset. These cars are so much fun, but so quirky at times.
