Paid about $120 for mine, but I would spend $150 to get another one. Once you begin using the various features you are HOOKED.
I love mine possible one of the handiest mods I have done to my car, cant imagine having a convertible without one now that I have had it for a while.....
We have 2. 1 on each of our 2 Verts.
They are a great product.
On my '01 a couple of times I have returned to find the windows down, but other wise no issues.
I bought both ours used in the C5 parts section...
I would not have paid $150 for it.
Woah - way to bring a thread back from the dead Last post was March of 2008. This will most likely get locked soon so you may want to start a new thread.
I don't remember off hand but did you get the instructions page with your unit? It should have the steps right next to the pin number.
When I purchased my 2002 (In July 2001) there was no Window Valet. But, there was someting called the "Window Commander" made specifically for the C5. It did all the window raise/lower tasks via the factory keyfob as the Valet... but had to be installed in each door panel.
So I had to pull each door panel and install these boxes.
and it cost $240
The Valet's painless installation and $140 price is chump-change when compared to what was previously available.
