chicago area mod shops

I am getting ready to start on the next project for my 2000 corvette a4. I would like to change the cam ,heads and intake and put on a set of long tube headers at the same time. I would like to find a great shop in the chicago area to get this done, i live about 60 miles west of chicago but am willing to travel. current mods are blackwing and BB exhaust. will it be necessary to modify transmission, i would like to end up with around 450 hp. thanks for any insight you all can give

I did all of the mechanical work myself (see sig below). Vengeance Racing in GA spec'd the cam & heads etc. and Speed Inc did the tune. I am very happy with the results

PM John his name on CF is Bluvette1 he owns a shop in Orland Park I was there and I have to tell you it’s a great place, I did some shopping from them before and now I’m in the process of getting some more things done.
