Default Need some more details on P1416 code

My 02 Z06 with 47K has the check engine light with P1416 H C code. I did a search and followed the previous post direction for cleaning the check valve. It did not work. My questions are:

What does the H and C stand for. After I cleaned the checkvalve and cleared the code, it came back again but just P1416. No H or C. I believe H is history, but what does it mean.

Is this definitely the Checkvalve? I am assuming the airpump works fine since the P1415 code did not pop, but could it be an O2 sensor? The manual talks about using a scan tool to check for additional codes. Would these be codes that don't show up on the DIC.

If I have to replace the checkvalve and remove intake, any other items I should take care of at the same time?

Thanks in advance. George

H = History
C = Current (means this code has been thrown in the current ignition cycle if memory serves)

I am assuming the "fix" you did was spraying carb cleaner or WD40 into the AIR hose then blowing it with a air compressor. After you did this.. did you remember to reset the code?

Mine did this last week.. and after I did the fix I had to reset the code.. no problems since.
