Default Soft Clutch Pedal?

This is basically my second manual car and I'm not very familiar with clutch problems. I just got it and the pedal seems very soft to me compared to my GTO. The clutch has to be good because it still pulls fine if I put in 5th at a very low speed. Someone here told me something about a clutch spring replacement? Any enlightenment is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys!

There is suppose to be a spring under the dash that is attached to the clutch pedal, check to see if it is in place.

Also check your fluid level and color. If your fluid is dirty do the "Ranger" service on it.

The C5 clutch is really quite light. I would not be surprised if everything is fine...

The fluid looks alright. I'll try and check out the spring. If that is the culprit where can I find one?

Actually the clutch pedal spring is NOT a return spring but an assist spring. I don't have a pic right now, but you can't miss it. get upside down and look at your pedal, there should be a torsion spring attached to the pedal!
