Default 400 Rwhp?

Have a 2000 MN6 and have the following Mods planned;

MTI X1 cam 230/227 .591/.571 on a 112 LSA
under-drive pulley & valvetrain upgrades
LG Street LT's W/X-pipe & Hi-flow cats
B&B catback
Vararam CAI
Dyno tune

Will this produce 400 RWHP? If not how close would I be?

Thanks for the responses.
Eric

Yes, or real close. Why not spend another $800 and get some 243 LS6 heads and get them P&P while you're at it? Prob another 15-20hp...

you should be knocking right on the door. and with the way Vararam's CAI works, you have a few more HP while you are moving rather than sitting on the dyno strapped down.

Might as well invest even on some decent heads and be up 20-50hp more. You'll need some good heads to get the most out of that cam or else you wont flow enough air to use it. On a budget?... Patriot LS6 heads are about $1500 a pair and for the money they perform reallly well. Good luck!

I have an MTI stealth cam 243 heads milled to 62cc combustion chambers, ls6intake, full exhaust and var ram with air bridge. I am making 403 at the wheels. If you plan on putting a cam in the car, a set of mildly milled 243 heads would be worth it, and would help bring that cam to life while still maintaining the drivability of the car. You can find some great deals on these heads on ebay.

243 heads are a must to get too 400 or over.

Plus some ported and polished 243s are not that expesive and you will need the light wt valves and better springs for the life that cam needs

I don't think that will quite get you where you want to go. I think you could get there if you add on a set of LS6 heads and also I would put in an LS 6 intake while I was there. You can probably get a set of used heads for around $500 and intake for around $350 right here on the forum.

If you have a little more to spend, I would look into some ported and polished LS6 heads like PRC sells. I think the go for around $1000.

Just an FYI my 01 Z06 made 387/378 with that cam and longtubes. I don't have a CAI or X-pipe or pulley or anything yet.
