originally i wanted to get 360-370rwhp out of my car, and some told me that with the cam i chose i would be closer to 380. well after taking it to get tuned the final numbers were 393.8rwhp/369.4rwtq. i'm getting greedy and now that i'm so close i feel like i might as well shoot for 400rwhp. without changing the heads, cam, or exhaust... is it possible?
02 coupe
stock heads, ls6 intake, haltech, LG street w/ o/r xpipe, borla catback, TSP cam (233/239, .595/.603 113), 3.42s, 3200 vig.
what minor changes could i do to get another 6.2rwhp? ported tb? anything?

Change your Intake to a FAST 90 and change your TB. I am right with you and those are the changes I was told would bust 400 rwhp. The question is 10 hp realy worth it??
keep in mind that you lose hp on the dyno with the stall. if you just want to beat the 400 mark, put your stock stall back in, dyno it, get the printout and then swap your 3200 back in.

Yea, it's easy to get hung up on a #, like 400hp, but in reality, as you well know, peak number don't mean a lot (the phrase "dyno queen" comes to mind) it's the power under the curve, as well as the durability and drivability that you'll enjoy most. Unless you plan on living on the drag strip, installing a big cam to make a lot of peak hp, will be a little more of a PITA to live with on the street than a slightly smaller cam and good set of heads (better known as a "package")
