classic rocking seat issue, do some searching in the C5 tech and C5 general sections and you'll find a bunch of writeups on how to fix it... basically you need some time, tools, and a couple washers...

I just fixed one on this past saturday.Mine was tight in tracks,but the clevis for the tilt was broken,this also can cause rocking.My car is a 99 & the entire tracks are not all the same,however you can use some of the parts from different models....You need to look under the seat to see if there are any parts there...maybe a clue as to what needs to be done.Be advised that you cant buy anything from dealer but the entire trak assy.approx 600 clams.....
