HELP needed! Backing plate (e-brake) missing, replace whole e-brake assembly
When I purchased my 04 the e-brake worked fine.
When I had my clutch replace recently, the shop disconnected the brake lines per the install. When re-connecting, they told me that the e-brake adjustment place was not there. It seemed as if the e-brake was adjusted and then the plate craked and came off. It didn't have an impact because the tension was set, but now that it had to be re-adjusted, it was impossible. Is this likely? Should I purchase a whole assembly, or is this an easy fix, when I change my rear rotors?
