I just put a cold air intake on and don't have anything to connect the air pump hose to anymore. It's just kind of sitting there. I really don't need the air pump anymore but it still connected since I have factory manifolds.
Can I just remove the fuses for it? Will this cause any problems? I won't be getting a tune for a while.
If your filter has no provisions for it, ust let the hose sit there.
All it does is pump air into your exhaust manifolds. If in the odd occurance you'd suck a leaf or something and clog the hose, you'd simply throw the same codes as if you'd disconnected the pump anyways.

I was thinking that but wasn't sure. I just installed the intake 3 days ago and ever since it has made a really messed up noise when the car is cold in the morning. Something is rattling/grinding bad. I figured it might be something to do with the air pump since the noise stops after the car has completely warmed up.
My Hurricane came with a little filter that pops into the open hose end. If you'd like I can find the box and give you the part number. Heck you can probably find something at an Auto Parts store too....
You're going to throw codes, it won't affeect the drivability of the car in anyway but it's annoying!
