Default Tools needed for rear rotor replacement?

Getting ready to do rear rotors and pads on my C5 and I was seeing what tools were necessary as my father was going to bring home what I don't have from work.

I did a search and all I found was a 21mm socket

Usually a BFH is suggested, some PB BLASTER, a large C-clamp to push the caliper pistons back into the calipers, wire brush to remove rust before re-installation...

Long pull bar for the 21 mm. That sob is tight.

Got it done! Thanks everyone! I hit the center and rear of the rotors with some WD-40 about an hour before removal and they came right off, wonder how much it helped....

That sucker was on there good!!! We had the car jacked up on the rear and used another jack to provide the 'leverage' to loosen the drivers side. The passenger side we got lucky, they didn't seem as tight, maybe because the 'old man' let me do that side

Did mine last nite. I just couldn't get the car up high enough to get the leverage from breaker bar to bust bolts loose. I stopped by a tire place on the way home, they lifted up rear, broke them loose with impact wrench and then retightened them. They came loose relatively easy when I got home last nite. However, when I started last week, I PB'd one side of the car but not the other. Took about 10 min on that side. The other side took some hammering (lightly), but it came off. New drilled and slotted rotors look really nice. Not that bad of a job. Just glad to get a chance to do it before I have to do it at the track!

When I had my 65 GTO I called that a Pontiac wrench.

It seemed that no matter what you worked on there was always something that needed persuaded.

When I was growing up, I learned that you call that thing a Ford Wrench!
