The gap around my RH head light cover, when closed, is a lot more on one side then the other. How do I adjust the whole cover or whole unit a little to the center of the car?
Thanks
take the lid off. there are screws all around it that keep it on.... under the lid are adjustment screws.. losen them so they can you move the top around. i suggest keeping it tight so it's small movements.. after you have lossened it up.. put the lid back on and slide it where you want... once you have it where you want.. take the lide back of gently so you don't change the adjustments.. and then tighten it back up.. screw lid back on and your ready to go
When I removed my headlights to install HIDs, it looked like I could only adjust the height of the cover and not the left/right fore/aft position...I was under the impression that you had to loosen the entire headlight assembly to shift left/right, but I could be wrong. Please let me know what you find - my alignment is slightly off, too.

This tells you everything you need with pictures.
Just be aware that this is very tedious to do, especially if you are doing the side to side, back to front, and height adjustments because you will be raising and lowering the headlight at least 15 times manually as you check your progress.
Set aside about 2 hours and take your time.
Mark the existing screw locations on the housing before you loosen them as a reference point.
This forum is just great. Everyone helps, very cool and thanks, Point & Shoot, for the exact info I needed!!! . The same problem as in the pics and even the same color car.
