To bad they didn't have a bolted flange inside the rear bellhousing with a inspection cover instead of the trans input splines/solid bellhousing. You could pull just the tube then as long as you could seperate the parts enough to get off the dowel pins.
I used Mike's link. 1st swap took me (diff. only, w/a buddy) 8hrs, 2nd one 7hrs, 3rd time 7hrs with clutch install also. Keep in mind we were in my garage, on jack stands, not in a big hurry. I would say 2 guys, with a lift and all the right tools, could do it in 4hrs with C5 experience.
