Default Exhaust options???

I bought the donaldson intake today..... Now need exhaust.
I do not like the subdued exhaust note of the stock C5 -
What is the best bang for my buck exhaust. is removing the Cats an option, dumping pre-cat an option - or regular cat back like CORSA and an X pipe? Thanks for the help - I have now had her 2 days.....

It all really depends on what sound you are looking for, AND what exhaust note sounds best to you. I ended up opting for the B&B PRT's because it gave a great throaty sound at idle, and bad **** note at WOT. You'll also hear great feedback from Corsa owners too, although I think they sound a little "boatier" than I like. (Just my opinion). I didn't put an X-pipe on, not only because of the A4 (less likely for back pressure), but also because I DO like the popping!

My reco would be to go to a few Corvette events and ask to hear other owners pipes and decide for yourself. Just my .02
Good Luck!

B&B headers, magnaflow x-pipe & B&B cat backs. Good combo for me. Nice kick in the pants, too. :smash:

I think we can help you, we sell and install most systems available.
Choosing an exhaust with out actually hearing them in person is tough, but we can give you some insight as to what to expect with each one. Please give us a call if we can help further...

What Nate said, do not buy an exhaust without hearing it, go to some vette events or hook up with some vette people, listen to thier exhaust and decide for yourself.
