Knock Sensor Intermittent Code

Knock Sensor Intermittent Code
Everyone,
I have a 2001 with a K&N FIPK, and B&B exhaust. I was popping the knock sensor 1 code so I replaced it along with knock sensor 2. (Might as well while the intake is off). About 100 miles later I am now popping the knock sensor 2 code again. If I reset the code it will stay off for about 40 miles, then come back on. I do have what seems like a noisy lifter, or the valve train just seems loud to me, could that throw the sensor? I have no loss of power or performance. Thanks!!
