HVAC Air Delivery System Problem
I installed a cam last year about this time. Also replaced battery last summer. For the life of me I can not tell if the AC or heater were used much, if ever, since the cam install. Car ran fine all last year.
I fire her up this spring and after she warms up, i can't seem to get any air directed at the floor/windshield, or A/C vents. I can tell the fan is blowing fine. Car runs fine and strong (except for my stupid clutch hanging up, which I'm about to deal with.)
I assume that she uses vacuum to drive the air delivery mechanism, and that maybe I have a line pinched or broken. I'm looking for a little help as to where I might start looking for the problem.
I have a manual climate control, not sure what you have, but i just went through and found my problem the other day... I had to take off the right fender and inside a bundle of wires the hard plastic line broke right where it exited the bundle of wires and angled too hard, i just cut both sides so they were nice again and used a piece of vacuum line to put them back together, good as new! You might be able to do it with the fender on, but i didnt really know what i was looking for!
