Cannot locate turn/emerg flasher unit, please help
Just had a shop install the led tail lights in my 01 c5. after a few days i noticed the flashing was very rapid. Today the lights come on but no flashing(turn or 4 way). where is the flasher located? and has this been a problem for others? Is the flasher special for the led lights? :confused:

The flasher is integral to the hazard switch. You have to remove the dashpad to get to it.
You can diagnose it with the repair manual and a test light.

Thanks for your reply, I am confused I know the led tail light replacments came with a new flasher to replace the factory unit. I don't have a manual can you explain or direct me to where i need to go thank's bob

Bob,
Since the problem arose so shortly after the install, it seems reasonable to me to take it back to the shop that did the installation. May not be the flasher unit at all.
