Default ported ls6 question

my car sits stock right now but i got a deal on a ported ls6 intake. if i were to put it on with a ported TB what kinda gains would i see also will the car run ok untuned because i wouldnt be able to tune it right away. would it just be better to hold on to it till i have cams and headers and tune it all at once?

IMO just wait for h/c. The gains on the intake and tb alone will be slight, not much to really feel. With some good heads the car will take advantage of better breathing. Save some $ to, do everything at once. Good luck!
