I haven't taken the screens out of my maf ends yet.Is there a thread that describes the procedure? Also I read somewhere cutting about 1 1/4" off of the egr tube where ut extends into the manifold is a beneficial mod.Any comments to that effect.Also would I feel any increase in power doung these mods or will it be strictly in my head.Iattempted to do the throttle by pass on my throttle body, but I only found 1 rubber line going into the front of the throttle body,but nothing coming out of the throttle body. The rea of the throttle body doesn't have any hose connected to it. :chevy :flag :flag (starsans stripes forever)

Hey Rod- Do you have an F-body? Those are the only LS1's with an EGR.
Removing the MAS screen is really easy especially on pre-01 cars since you can take the MAS apart to keep from damaging the electronics.
