Anyways, I have had a set of LED taillights on the car for the past 2 years, and they worked perfectly. My left front turn signal bulb goes out and the lights flash fast, like they are suppose to do. I replaced the burned out bulb and the lights still flash fast
Now that I have checked most everthing to find out why the lights are flashing fast with the new GM bulb, I figure it might be a resistance issue. I unplugged one of the LED lights and plug a regular bulb in and the lights flash like they are suppose to. Put the LED's back in, and they flash fast again.
I even checked another set of lights to see if somehow the LED's went bad on me, and the new LED lights do the same thing.
Has anyone else had this problem ? Any suggestions on how to fix the issue and keep the LED's ?
Do a search in c5 gen, you can bypass the OEM flasher and put in one for LEDs. You can also by a harness made up from a supporting vendor so it is plug-and-play.
Anytime you switch to LED lights for your turn signals you're going to have hyper flash where your lights blink faster than normal. I had the same problem until I installed Load Equalizers and this solved it. I bought them at the Autolumination website.
