I have just installed my LG pros and all was well till today. CEL came on and dtc showed two codes P0133c and p0153c. Slow response bank 1 sensor 1 and slow response bank 2 sensor 1. Is this the front or the back set of o2s. The main reson I ask is I just changed the front position to new GM rear sensors per LG instruction. Had no codes previously but had only driven maybe 50 miles. I checked the fuse and retighten all my clamps. Any body had this before? Help. Thanks

"Sensor 1"...is a forward/front 02 sensor. Usually You have your tuner "turn off" the rear 02 sensors (Sensor "2") after a LT headers install to avoid codes P0420 & P0430 that the rear 02's will set due to the increased exhaust flow. . Of course, a "Tune" is necessary after a headers install so the front 02s can continue to do their job correctly... did you have this done? did you re-connect the front 02's correctly?

As previously stated the codes you are showing are for the front O2s. I know it is common to get insufficient switching O2s after header install, I got P1153C after my install. Not clear on P0133C but it sounds similar. There has been much discussion on here relative to the relocation of the sensors due to headers and subsequent codes. When you get the car tuned, the tuner can address most of these. I haven't run into the P0133C and P0153C relative to headers. Hopefully someone that has experienced this can clarify. If I were you, I would call LG and get some input from them, I'm sure they have seen these codes and could advise you.

Car was tuned previously but not since the LTs were installed. I do plan to do so but have not made it yet. Yes they are correctly installed. I did one at the time to make sure they were not switched. Thanks.

Thanks, I have e mailed Anthony at LG for his input. Some reading I did seemed to indicate maybe an exhaust leak so I re tightened all the clamps to 40 ft. lbs. and some were not close to that. Maybe that will do it. I hope so.

Update I confirmed an exhaust leak at the collector/cat connection. I can not stop it with the supplied clamps so I will but some 2 bolt style clamps and see if I can stop the leak there no other problems found anywhere could this be my problem based on the codes?

I would fix your exhaust leak, then clear the codes and see if they come back. There are some other potential causes but I would fix the leak and see if that fixes it before I complicate things.

Right this needs to be fixed regardless. I have new clamps coming. I will be on vacation for a few days and they should be here when I return.
