I have found a helpful mod that might help installing your intake manifold.I have removed and installed my intake manifold several times and always had problems connecting the plastic vacuum tube that connects to MAP sensor on the back of the intake. The plastic tube is to short to manage while trying to align your intake, and not enough room in the back to hold on to it to keep it pulling out of the sensor.
What I did was cut a little over an inch off the plastic tube and inserted it into the sensor. I then connected the 2 ends with a 3 inch piece of 1/4 inch rubber hose. This gave me enough room to move the intake around while I aligned it to the runners. Make sure the rubber hose does not get kinked or smashed. Hope this helps someone.
