Any suggestions for low resistant mufflers? help!
I got my car ready just in time to run A street Prepared for the San Diego National tour. Boy, was I glad to get to practice early hitting the highest on the sound meter at dB sound at 99 dB. As many may not know, there's a 93dB requirement in San Diego. I had to rush out to make a makeshift set to stick on the back of my Billy Boat Bullets tips. We made a set out of 1/2 of a BMW bullet muffler and dropped the dB to 88. Good job, but not a finish product.
Now I'm back I'm looking for the largest core that wouldn't hurt the performance too much and incorporate nicely with the Billy Boat curve. Any Suggestions guys? Borlas are expensive but will work.
