Default 2002 A4 trans power levels

Hi Guys
I am a newbie to the Forun and this is my first Vette. It is a Daily driver, 20 miles one way. I have an 02 iron block take out motor that I want to make some power with. But just how much power can a 4L60 and the rear handle if it is not a drag only car. I have read that there are sponsors who can build them up to handle huge power levels but would like a bit of feed back on when I might need to call on them for their services.
Thanks and Love the Forum, lots of input and ideas.

When Andy at A&A tuned my vert recently after the Vortech install he stopped at the current numbers(see sig) and said if I didn't put slicks on it and didn't flog it often at the drag strip the tranny and drive train should hold up. The tranny was reset when they did the H/C pkg.-Shift points, tranny pressure and shift times.

Thanks for the input. That is just what I was looking for. I want a good driver without breaking parts and still fight LA traffic.
Thanks
