left side
the left side shaft is an upgrade for the 405hp z06,300m,as stated on wickapeedia.i could not tell you the hardness number on the C scale, as i do not have access to a Rockwell hardness tester.i do have 14 years as a toolmaker.the file tells me so.i broke the right side,win i received my new shafts i compared .i also did a few hours of on line study.i am setting up for 700rwp i wanted to be sure.it only makes sense they would upgrade the shaft as they did the clutch and internals.if you are running anywhere near the stock z06 horse power this shaft is all you need.wheel hop is the only problem.the clutch as a ratting of 385tq.it had an extra mm of material added for the ls6.the presure plate strap is its weak Link.i do not claim to be an expert on anything but i have allot of time(retired in 99 at 38)i have two tech. degrees.and just installed a custom twin turbo kit,complete clutch kit and both output shafts on my car.i probably made every mistake that could be made. i am still going ,the forum and the people on it have made it possible.i am at the wideband ,tunning stage .learning as i go
