You are welcome. One thing I did, not sure how much it helped.
I masked off the area where I was texturing/painting. I applied 3 or 4 coats and then started to remove the tape/masking as further coats went on. The last 2 final coats were done with all the tape removed, trying to beather in the new paint into the surround. Hope that helps.
