See, I told you there would be a DTC set by the PCM for this problrm (post #15) .....
Let's start with the easy stuff ... in the Underhood Fuse Block, check the following fuses to see if either is blown ....
Fuse 16 - 10 amp - this fuse protects Relay 42
Fuse 24 - 10 amp - this fuse protects the power to Relay 34 and also provides the power for the compressor clutch diode.
Especially if a fuse is blown, but even if fuses are good, inspect the wiring around the a/c compressor. Look for wires that might be rubbing against something like the serpentine belt, or wiring that may have overheated and burned off the insulation, allowing a short to occur.
Try these steps first, and let us know what you find.
