Default Shock question?????????????

Are the bilsteins any better or worse than the C6 Z06 shocks if I am going to replace my stock shocks on my 2004 convertible to use for the street and autocrossing? Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks, thats a good read allright. It would also explain why my theory of set it and forget it on my old RX7 Autocrosser worked so well when others were jumping all over the place with there set ups. Thanks again.

This is the way I look at it. All factory shocks are made by the lowest bidder. They are not designed to last in the long run. I feel that any quality aftermarket shock will give you better performance in the short AND long run. I also feel that Bilstein is hard to beat for both street and track for the money. I have Bilstein HD and love them but if I were auto crossing I would pick the Sports. Good luck picking out a shock. It took me 4 mo to decide on Bilstein HD and it was one of my best mods.
