Default Wierd Clutch Issue

I have an '01 and have a problem with my clutch. When ever I rev the car high with the clutch in, the pedal will get hard and the pedal engagement point changes. It will also do it after a jump on it and shift higher than normal driving. After I let the car sit for a little bit, the pedal is back to normal. Any ideas? Anyone have this happen to them?

I have it happen to me too as well and was wondering the same thing. However the pressure plate is no simple object it looks to be like some sort of centrififical dohicky(technical term).

Change clutch to a Z06 (or other)replacement and upgrade the master/slave and most likely your problem will be gone.

that was one of the many problems I had before I went to a Textralia OZ700 clutch with all new hydraulics. it's only going to get worse as the clutch gets older and you add power... make sure you go with something other than a GM LSx clutch, people seem to be having issues even with the LS7 clutches...
