Ford injectors in my ls1?

Ford injectors in my ls1?
I bought my car used, used to be supercharged, blah blah blah. Anyways, i was checking out the injectors today and noticed they were black with green tops and they say for on them, XL3V-A5A, on the web it says they are 42 lb/hr. This is obviously why i run rich, but i still get 30 mpg on the highway and 19 in the city? can the computer really compensate that good? or does my car probably have some kind of tune in it?
