Default Sorry, just couldn't help myself

I was sitting here scrolling down a topic of interest, past the long

sigs

filled

with

mods,

pics,

special effects,

etc.,

only to find responses of one line,

when it suddenly hit me: It's just personal advertising.

Haha, now it's personal. :mad

So how bout a link already?

Pretty funny Doug

This came up a few weeks ago in a post (sigs). The vote was overwhelming to leave them in. Most of us like seeing the pictures and info on other cars. It really "personalizes" the forum members who have become good friends without ever meeting in person. I too have thought about, and occassionally turned of my sig after the first post in a thread. But I usually just don't remember. Plus, it helps me find my posts quickly as I scroll down.

Hey, 56K isn't all that bad. Besides, we're supposed to have DSL available out at our house in a year (or two, AT&T can't decide).

Have a good one,
Mike

Since your in a remote area:
Have you looked into coupling your internet connection with a tv sattelite? You probably will still have to connect upstream via a phone line for requests, but your downstream will be fast.
